Geoffroy II Boterel ( fr. Geoffroy II Boterel de Penthièvre ; m. 1148 ) - Comte de Penthièvre desde el 21 de abril de 1135/1136 , hijo de Etienne I , Comte de Penthièvre y Havisa de Guingand .
En 1118, Geoffroy II se rebeló contra su padre y exigió su herencia. Etienne tuvo que dividir su propiedad, transfiriendo parte a su hijo. En 1120, Geoffroy II hizo de Moncontour y Lambal sus residencias . También ostentaba el título de Señor de Lamballe.
En 1130, Geoffroy fundó la Abadía de Begar. En 1135 o 1136 se convirtió en Conde de Penthièvre. Geoffroy construyó el castillo de Moncontour y el 3 de febrero de 1137 fundó la abadía cisterciense de Saint-Aubin-des-Bois.
Durante la Guerra Civil Inglesa de 1135-1154 , fue nombrado partidario de la emperatriz Matilde . Habiendo perdido sus posesiones inglesas, huyó del país. [una]
Godofredo murió en 1148 . Su hijo Rivallon se convirtió en conde de Penthièvre .
