Ottilie Wilhelmine Ernestine Henriette von Goethe ( alemán : Ottilie Wilhelmine Ernestine Henriette von Goethe , nee Baroness Ottilie von Pogwisch ; 31 de octubre de 1796 , Danzig - 26 de octubre de 1872 , Weimar ) - la esposa del único hijo de Johann Wolfgang Goethe August .
El padre de Ottilie, Wilhelm Julius von Pogvisch, pertenecía a una familia noble de Holstein , y su madre, Henrietta, nació como la condesa Genckel-Donnersmarck. Ottilie se casó con August Goethe el 17 de junio de 1817 . Tres hijos nacieron en su familia:
- Walther Wolfgang de Goethe (1818-1885)
- Wolfgang Maximilian von Goethe (1820-1883) y
- Alma de Goethe (1827-1844).
Durante 15 años, Ottilie vivió en la casa de Weimar de Goethe y, gracias a su mente aguda, ganó reconocimiento en el círculo del anciano Goethe. En 1829, fundó el periódico Caos, que publicó las obras de Goethe, así como las de los amigos de Weimar de Ottilie y otras celebridades. La hermana de Ottilie, Ulrika, vivió bajo el mismo techo que Goethe durante diez años. El esposo de Ottilie, Augusto, murió en 1830 en Italia , el gran Goethe, en 1832. El testamento del suegro privó a Ottilie de la oportunidad financiera de volver a casarse. Ottilie viajó mucho. En 1835, Ottilie von Goethe dio a luz en Viena a una hija ilegítima, Anna Storey, de un oficial inglés. En 1840, Ottilie se movió en los círculos de Carl von Golthey , Franz Grillparzer , Ludwig August Frankl von Hohwart , Eduard von Bauernfeld , Eduard von Feuchtersleben y Franz von Schober . El 16 de junio de 1841, Ottilie regresó a Weimar y en 1843-1844 se mudó nuevamente a Viena.
