Existe la tradición de gritar el nombre de Helga en Rock am Ring. Según cuenta la historia, hace unos años, un desafortunado visitante, que perdió a su novia llamada Helga entre la multitud, corrió por el vecindario toda la noche y gritó su nombre, despertando a más de cien personas.
